What is the difference between complement and compliment, and complimentary and complementary?
Complement = that which completes
Compliment = praise, flattering remarks
To compliment = to praise.
To complement = to go well with, to complete
Complementary = completing a whole
Complimentary = (a) flattering, and, (b) free of charge
