Mulla Nasrudin finally bought a parrot
at an auction after some rather spirited bidding.
"I assume the bird talks," he
said to the auctioneer.
"TALKS?" the auctioneer said.
"WHO DO YOU THINK HAS BEEN BIDDING AGAINST YOU FOR THE PAST HALF
HOUR?"
