A member of the finance committee
called on Mulla Nasrudin.
"I am calling about the yearly
contribution to the fund for converting the heathen," he said. "last
year you gave a rupee."
"WHAT!" said Nasrudin in
surprise "HAVEN'T YOU CONVERTED THEM YET?"
